Hiring and retaining the right talent to grow your business
As more Asian companies look at expanding their international presence, Priya Gupta, Manager for Banking & Financial Services division shared her insights with ABS-CBN on how companies can attract and retain the right talent to grow their business internationally.
She highlighted that 50 per cent of Filipino professionals with international experience, either from working abroad or in multinational companies based in the Philippines, are keen to join Asian companies.
Priya also shared that Filipino professionals residing overseas are looking to move back to the Philippines for the following reasons:
- Multinational giants setting up their business in the country
- Asian or local companies growing
- Opportunity to give back to the country and pride to be a part of a Filipino company
According to her, while pay and benefits remain the top factor in attracting and retaining talent, Asian companies possess their own unique strengths such as the ability to offer a sense of entrepreneurship, closer proximity with the CEO and the opportunity to have greater involvement with the profits and losses of the company.
