Jasmin Rose Austria had worked for almost a decade in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), when she and her husband began entertaining the thought of returning to the Philippines – one, to get married, and two, to be closer to their families. They originally planned for a wedding in the Philippines at the end of 2022, but a chance encounter with a Robert Walters advertisement online made it so both of them could officially be ‘husband and wife’ ahead of schedule.
“I really miss my family and friends after spending 9 years in Dubai – I believe being away from them for nearly a decade is more than enough," Jasmin explains.
