What drives them to consider returning home, and what factors hold them back? How does the current economic landscape influence their decision?

Key insights

The urge to reconnect: 62% of Filipino professionals living abroad express interests in relocating back home in the next 5 years, up from 54% in 2021. The longing is motivated by the aspiration to reunite with family and loved ones.
Economic realities: The current state of economy influences the decision whether or not to return. Unfavorable economic stability and growth in the Philippines discourages Filipinos from relocating.
